Ray Bradley 2011 Farm to Table Dinner
This year Mary and I, along with friends, attended Ray Bradley's Farm to Table dinner in New Paltz New York. We shop at Ray's stand at the Brooklyn Farmers Market every week. Ray's farm dinner feature products from some of our favorite purveyors at the farmer's market: Kira of Evolutionary Organics who supplied all of the greens; Cato Corner's Farm who supplied the cheese; Blue Moon Fish who supplied the clams and lobster.
The food prepared by Ray and his wonderful team in the kitchen was both simple and very creative with great flavors and of course the best ingredients. Jean Luc Kieffer of Picnic Restaurant made incredible pates with Ray's heritage pork, cheeses throughout the meal supplied by Cato Corners, a wonderful light and herbal clam chowder prepared by Steve Rose of Brooklyn NY, an incredible light an summery lobster salad, crispy and delicious roast chicken, great herb and greens salad prepared by John Policastro of Accord New York, and a light and fruity cake baked by Risa Bell of Brooklyn, NY, and Wine supplied by Adair Vineyards of New Platz, NY
